Retirement Permit
While not direct investment, retirees aged 50+ can apply for a residency permit by transferring at least USD 1,500 per month (USD 18,000 annually).

- Submit the application through the Economic Development Board (EDB)of Mauritius.
- Provide supporting documents:
- Proof of investment (e.g., property purchase, business setup).
- Clean criminal record.
- Health and medical insurance.
- Await approval, typically within 4-6 months.
